Hi, it’s Marissa here – owner of The Candy Buffet Company – and we’re officially celebrating 15 years of sweet styling magic!
Fifteen years! Time really does fly when you’re surrounded by colour, candy, and creativity. As I sit here preparing for our brand relaunch, I can’t help but look back with a full heart at how far we’ve come — and thank you for being part of the journey.
How It All Began
The story doesn’t start with me, but my chapter began back in November 2011. My florist, Karina from Style By Nature, introduced me to her friends who’d started an incredible new business the year before: The Candy Buffet Company.
I had just left a long career in events and was looking for something fresh. After one meeting, I was hooked. I joined as Events Manager — and from day one, I knew this business was something special.
A Whirlwind of Sweet Success
Those first six years were wild in the best way. We expanded across Australia, worked with some of the world’s biggest brands, featured at bridal expos, concerts, TV shows, and hundreds of events — from intimate weddings to huge corporate launches.
Then, in 2017, came the moment that changed everything. The opportunity arose to buy the business I loved, and on Halloween that year, I officially became the proud owner of The Candy Buffet Company.
The People Who Make It Magic
Over the years, we’ve welcomed so many talented people — creative stylists (many still with us today), event pros, and wonderful clients who’ve trusted us to bring joy and colour to their celebrations. From donut walls to personalised candy boxes, grazing tables, and everything in between, it’s been an absolute privilege to be part of your special moments.
Looking Ahead
As we prepare for a fresh new rebrand, I’ll be taking you on a weekly journey through some of the incredible events we’ve styled from 2010 to 2025 — and there are plenty of sweet stories to share.
We’ve spent 15 years making events a little sweeter, a lot more fun, and occasionally downright irresistible – and we’re just getting started!
